Membership

Currently we offer 4 levels of membership. If you wish to become A Junior, Associate or Full member please contact us first, either by social media or via email at contactus@idrpg.co.uk.

 


Supporter Membership - Minimum £5

The supporter level of membership is open to persons of any age and gets you:

 

1) A copy of our quaterly Newsletter full of exclusive news, project updates and Future plans.

 

2) Priority invites for you and your family (2 Adults, 2 Children) to any events arranged or hosted by the ID&RPG.

 

There are two ways of becoming a supporter of our group:

1) Complete a 'Supporter Membership' Form which are available from us at events or by downloading a copy Here, then either post it back to us or bring it with you to the next even we attend.

2) If you would like to become a supporter online, then we now accept paypal. To do this click the "Support" button below.

 

Once you have done this we will soon get in touch with you with further details.

 



Full Membership - £20

Full membership is open to any persons aged 18+ and has all the benifits of supporter membership.

As a full member you will be invited to attend all our arranged working days and, after required training has been given, be allowed to work on any of our restoration projects.

Being a full member also allows you to help guide the group by getting involved in planning future work.


Junior Membership - £15

This level of membership is open to any persons aged 16-18 and has all the benifits of supporter membership.

As a junior member you are allowed to attend arranged working days but must be under the supervision of a full member at all times.


Associate Membership - £10

This type of membership is for those who wish to be members of the IDRPG but only intend to do work as part of the group in a single location Eg your current home railway.

Associate membership is identical to full membership but with the previous listed restrictions if the you wish to then work at more than one location you will be required to pay full membership.

Objectives

The restoration, preservation, maintainance and operation of railway related items including locomotives, rolling stock and memorabilia.

The study, recording and preservation, for the advancement of public education, of illustrative and other materials relating to railways.

To assist in the education and enhancement of the skills of its members.
